(The Army recently changed this MOS
from 68H to 15H.) A Aircraft Pneudraulics
Repairer is primarily responsible for
supervising and performing maintenance
on aircraft pneudraulics systems. The
aircraft pneudraulics repairer supervises,
inspects and performs aviation unit, intermediate
and depot maintenance on aircraft pneudraulics
systems.
Requirements:
-
A minimum score of 105 in aptitude
area MM

A physical demands rating of heavy
(be able to lift on an occasional
basis a maximum of 100 pounds with
frequent or constant lifting of 50
pounds)

Normal color vision
-
Formal training (completion of a
resident MOS 67S course conducted
under the auspices of the U.S. Army
Aviation School) mandatory or meet
the ACASP criteria listed in AR 601-210.
Waiver for formal training or ACASP
criteria must be submitted to Cdr,
USAAVNC, ATTN: ATZQ-AP, Ft Rucker,
AL 36362 for approval.

Alcohol and drug abuse as defined
below will disqualify any soldier
or potential enlistee from this MOS
Duties:

Remove, repair and test pneudraulics
systems, subsystems and assemblies
-
Fabricatetubes and hoses
-
Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions
to pneudraulics systems and subsystems
or components
-
Perform operator maintenance on common
and special tools
-
Maintain and store hydraulic fluids
and other flammable materials
-
Maintain shop and bench stock
-
Prepare forms and records related
to aircraft maintenance
Training:
-
Nine weeks of basic training
-
14 weeks of Advanced Individual
Training (AIT) at Fort Eustis, Virginia,
including inspection and repair of
aircraft engines and equipment. (Part
of this time is spent in a classroom
and part in the field under simulated
combat conditions)
