Bosnian police put him under surveillance, and in a raid last fall on his apartment on Poligonska Street, authorities seized explosives, a suicide bomber belt and a videotape of masked men begging Allah's forgiveness for what they were about to do.
What they planned, investigators believe, was to blow up a European embassy. But compounding their concern, they say, was the ringleader's background: Maximus turned out to be Mirsad Bektasevic, a 19-year-old Swedish citizen of Serbian origin with ties to a senior al-Qaida operative.

I would imagine this would be a high priority for them. I'm sure they can find people desperate enough to be part of
any cause, but I think most people of any race who had the hope of a better life wouldn't be easily duped into killing themselves for someone else's cause. You can almost understand why some Arab countries find volunteers so readily. They have little opportunity and the promise that their families will be taken care of is often a very tempting offer. If they do manage to recruit many "White Muslims" it could pose a very serious threat to Europe and the U.S.

I do believe you are on target and correct in your thinking that there could be a serious threat to the U.S. and others if terrorists are recruiting more terrorists. And terrorists who don't even think asa true terrorist would think and who may be willing to do logically evil and stupid things just because they think it is righteious or right and they eventually may be brainwashed into thinking such things are right and that this way of terrrorism which is not the best way to think or to live is what they want and rather do regardless of their families whom they say they love and want to take care of. But we know they really want to get rid of them the way they believe is best for them so that they don't have to work to send the money or give the money to care for the family which has more than one child usually in it. Terrorism is as common as a man that refuses to accept that he is a father and that he must be responsible as the father and pay child support for his child or children; each child that he helped to create to be in this world regardless of the hardships in life before and after they are born to be apart of all things which relates to life in this world.
It just goes to show that profiling with "steriotypes" is not always effective. We must now always be vigilant and keep our ears open no matter where we are or who we are around. A potential terrorist could just as well be a member of an upscale country club or tennis club (frequented by any race or religion) just as they could be a in any other civic organization or church. Justice should be blind literally untill something unusual warrants further investigation, then rememember that that they are still innocent at this point. Lets keep that vigilant eye open then open the other eye if need be and let our intel do the jobs that keep this nation protected.
