The Iraq war has made it tougher to sign up young men and women for the all-volunteer U.S. military, but a group of new recruits said they were drawn by a sense of duty, a chance for adventure, career training and college tuition benefits. Recruiting has been back up this year after a shortfall in 2005 for the first time in a decade. New programs, bonuses and benefits have made the Military an appealing option. Keeping benefits and pay competitive with civilian life and even better in many cases will help keep our numbers up and avoid the possibility of a draft.

i want to jion the army and i dont known how to go a bout it,simply becuse i base in ghana.and that's very difeculte to have a visa to reach you.even though it is tougher to sign up young men and women to iraq some of as out side the u.s are willing to have the oporteunity to be recruted and go there.
