Bush Would Order Military Action in Pakistan If Bin Laden is There Email This Story Print This Story

If he got word that Osama bin Laden was hiding in Pakistan, President Bush says he would "absolutely" order military action there.
The question came up during a T-V interview, where the president was asked if he'd order American soldiers to kill or capture bin Laden, even if it's inside Pakistan. Bush tells C-N-N he would "take the action necessary" to bring him to justice.

But at the same time, Bush is dismissing talk that maybe Pakistan isn't doing enough to find bin Laden and other terror leaders. He sees that country's president as someone who'd "like to bring al-Qaida to justice."
The US position immediately after 911 was that we would take action against any country harboring terrorist. No one should be surprised at this statement. Its not like we didn’t give them warning. Do the math 2006-2001, that’s 5 years they have had to get him out of their country if he is there.
