Dueling views on Army size: Congress vs. Rumsfeld Email This Story Print This Story

Congress is about to put forth a recommendation to increase the Army's numbers by 10,000. Some people say this isn't anywhere near enough and that a good start would be 10 times that number. However, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld has been very vocal about a leaner, more efficient army. How about we go both routes and have a bigger, more efficient army. I would certainly sleep better. If you ask me, this is a much more frightening time than the cold war ever was. Read the full story.
