Army Adds New Bonus For Recruits Email This Story Print This Story

In the face of missed recruiting goals, the U.S. Army has implemented a new bonus for recruits who sign up by the end of the fiscal year. The Recruiting Command has announced a $20,000 quick-ship bonus for recruits with no prior military service. To receive the incentive recruits must enlist for at least two years of active duty and report to basic training within 30 days of enlistment, the American Forces Press reported.

If they are willing to fight for their country then they will earn whatever bonus they get. There is a war going on and we do have an all "volunteer" army.

thanks to our troops we enjoy alot of freedoms that we wouldnt have, if you read about our history or just rent the movie A Band Of Brothers you my seen things different. thank you for your time
