Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton stood between the former heads of the US Military Academy at West Point and the Army War College yesterday and unveiled legislation that would add 100,000 soldiers to the Army, declaring that it should be a ''national priority" to field a significantly larger military.
Wow! Is this in addition to the 80,000 already being added? It seems like that's the case. I don't follow politics that closely, but it seems strange to see a Clinton pushing for more military, and I'm glad to see it. If this is part of her strategy to become the next U.S. President, it's a good move.
