Politicians are talking about two Americas based upon wealth, but they have it wrong. In 1987, 75 percent of Congress had military service. Today, it is less than 25 percent. President Johnson, 40 years ago, was the last president with a relative (son-in-law) in the military. Of 535 Congress members, only about three have a child in the military. One America forgets its history. One current presidential candidate, asked why his five able-bodied sons of military age have no military service, responded they were supporting the nation by campaigning for Dad. Contrast that with President Franklin Roosevelt's five sons, who volunteered and served in World War II, with one earning a Congressional Medal of Honor.

From this you have to wonder what has happened to the leaders in our country, they want the power but are unwilling to make the sacrifices.
