Marvel Entertainment announced Thursday that its slain hero Captain America will rise again with a new outfit and a new secret identity, after the character was killed off in March by a sniper's bullet in a storyline on the War on Terror.
True Believers never had a reason to doubt. When I first learned that Captain America had died a part of me died that day. Some icons are meant to be forever. The Statue of Liberty, Uncle Sam, and Captain America have always been representative of what America could be. Hooah to Marvel Comics for bringing back an American Hero during a time when apart from our military real heroes are few and far between.
