President Vladimir Putin said Thursday that the U.S. war in Iraq was a "pointless" battle against the Iraqi people, the latest jab at Washington from the increasingly confrontational Russian leader. "Russia, thank God, isn't Iraq. It has enough strength and power to defend itself and its interests, both on its territory and in other parts of the world."
Are we going to see a re-emergence of Russia as a purported "Super-Power"? Or is Putin just jealous that his time as President doesn't include sending political enemies to Siberia?

Does anyone else wonder at the way the AP has written this story? They negatively emphasize Putin using methods of propaganda that are status quo in almost every single U.S. political campaign. Answering only pre-selected questions in a poltical forum is as American as sliced bread.
Everything about U.S. media is propoganda.
And Bush, the idiot moron, is setting the stage for WWIII where not even arrogant fat lazy Americans will be safe.
