UN to Vote on Death Penalty Halt Email This Story Print This Story

A resolution calling for a worldwide suspension of the use of the death penalty has been introduced at the United Nations General Assembly.

Is it wrong to demand the ultimate price for the ultimate crime? If proven guilty should the perpetrator have to suffer as much as his victim? Is the death penalty moral or ethical? Is not using the death penalty moral or ethical.

We should use the old saying of an eye for an eye. If some asshole is willing to take the life of an innocent person then he does not deserve to carry with his own. The only problem I have with the death penalty in America is that we are way to nice about it. I dont think some homicidal prick thought about the innocent person's life he took so why should we as a nation give them that benefit of making sure that their life is taken with out pain and suffering even thought thats exactly what the killer caused.
