Osama's son: Change Your Ways Dad Email This Story Print This Story

Omar bin Laden has a message for his father, Osama: "Find another way." "I try and say to my father: 'Try to find another way to help or find your goal. This bomb, this weapons, it's not good to use it for anybody,' " he said in English learned in recent months from his British wife. He said that's not just his own message, but one that a friend of his father's and other Muslims have expressed to him. "They too say ... my father should change [his] way," he said.

Finally a voice of reason from the son of the world's most wanted man. For once we have a young Muslim man speaking up and condemning the actions of al Qaeda. It does help that he is Osama's son. Maybe Omar's dream of peace can come true, but he is goi8ng to have to have the support of the hard line clerics first. Do you think Omar's statements are an honest appeal for peace or just another al Qaeda propaganda tactic?
