Each candidate is carefully pandering to a smorgasbord of special-interest groups, ranging from gay, lesbian and transgender people to children of illegal immigrants to working mothers to evangelical Christians. There is one group no one has recognized, and it is the group that will decide the election: the Angry White Man. The Angry White Man comes from all economic backgrounds, from dirt-poor to filthy rich. He represents all geographic areas in America, from urban sophisticate to rural redneck, deep South to mountain West, left Coast to Eastern Seaboard.
The issue is not even about being white. Any one that is tired of being told that the government can "help" them live better lives. Any one who is tired of being told that it is wrong for them to dislike someone else for their beliefs, but that person can dislike them. Any one who is tired of giving up over 25% of their paycheck while other give none. Any one who is tired of having to watch every word that they say in case they offend anyone. That hits the nail on the head. Unfortunately the special interest groups are move outspoken and vicious in their rhetoric that most average citizens. Hence the wheel that squeaks gets oiled. Call your congressman or senator and let them know what Joe America thinks.
