The Army is putting more re-enlistment cash on the line for an elite group of senior noncommissioned officers who offer the Army’s most sought-after skills. The new Critical Skills Retention Bonuses posted by the Army this week includes 17 eligible specialties, including Special Forces soldiers in all categories who can take what equals the Army’s biggest bonus ever: $150,000 if they sign up to re-enlist for six more years.

The best of the best receiving a bonus that matches the dedication and sacrifices have made sound right. Considering the money the Army has invested in these soldiers it is worth it to keep them. Is $150,00 enough or too much?

It does sound high given our national debt but retention is a big deal for those higher up skilled individuals. I believe it's been earned with time, training, and loyalty to defending our country for all foreign and domestic issues.

Maybe someone can give these elite guys $150k to find LATARRI who threw a puppy off a cliff in Iraq, because that's what we pay our servicemen to do....KILL PUPPIES. Nice loser that someone's daughter is either married to or will marry. Maybe someone in the military needs to pay attention to the psychos we are creating or encouraging!
