Senators Criticize Ahmadinejad's Warm Welcome Email This Story Print This Story

Senators blasted the Iraqi government’s warm welcome of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad this week, saying it belittles the sacrifice of American troops and the threat Iran still poses to them. “We’ve shed a lot of blood and our taxpayers have spent a lot of money to give Iraq an opportunity to be independent,” said Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl Levin, D-Mich. “[Iran] is providing weaponry that is killing our men and women, still. And then we see their president come to visit Iraq. I think it’s offensive.”

Carl Levin is the one of the democrats who keeps telling the media we are losing the war. Unfortunately he is right on this particular issue. The Iraqi President should have told Ahmadinejad "We will talk as soon as you stop supplying terrorist with supplies to kill our people." Either way it is disheartening to see this propaganda puppet so warmly welcomed. Should Iraq have given Ahmadinejad the cold shoulder?

The Army Should Stop Whining wrote:

If Americans hadn't invaded, then we wouldn't be wasting OUR money! I just don't feel sorry for American troops because they are the invader and occupier and murderer. I feel sorry for the millions of Iraqis who have died because of America. Maybe if the military didn't whine and cry so much over a handful of dead soldiers, people may have some respect for them. No wonder people are going around blowing up army recruiting stations. This military is a disgrace and no intelligent person should ever join.

Iran and Iraq are both Shite and should become best friends. I agree the American Army should just stop whining. It's just embarassing. The american army has no respect for anyone. But that is because they are the poor class and barely literate.

Sounds to me as the two people who wrote that our Army are whining and are murders need to be stripped of their citizenship and kicked out of OUR country. Since they seem to hate the military and have no clue, they should be sent to a country where the dictator and/or military would have them murdered for speaking against that country. Fact is we liberated a country that was ran by a horrible murdering his own people by the hundred of thousands, now another country will actually have the opprotunity to be free and learn to build a democracy, not worry that if they are of a certain group they will be slaughtered or their little children will be killed to get them to do things againt their own countryment. Shame on those two, I say banish them, with ou our army/military, they would not be free to spit their vile BS and stupidity.
GOD bless USA and our Military,
