You could have heard a tear drop when two-dozen burly motorcycle riders stood in stunned silence in front of a recently vandalized World War II veterans monument Sunday in Heartland of America Park. Then Clayton Hollister, commander of American Legion Post No. 1 in Omaha, put the scene in perspective. I think it is horrible Americas youth need to start respecting the men and women who fought for there right to even have problems with the way there country does things.
Maybe they didnt think of it that way....maybe they thought it would be a killer background to a nice work of art....but then again i havent seen the picture...it could just be trash
I can see your point there but i think they tagged the art so who knows like you said i havnt seen the pic either.
I guess to our youth, and many adults, those who have fought for them don't mean as much as there idols like Hannah Montanna or Britney Spears. Maybe if our country payed tribute to our soldiers half as much as TV jokes, things like this wouldn't happen. Of course parents would have to learn how to be real parents and disapline also.
SHAME ON THEM. HAVE A SON IN IRAQ
hard to believe that the youths can outrage vets like that. our men and women out there in the feild need respect and this just isnt the way to do it. having military back ground myself as infantry i'm outraged at this lude and unjust action. shame on them. todays youths need to be more respectful and learn to grow up and be more hard working. it seems the youth of america has lost its values
