The active Army beat its recruiting goal for the second consecutive month, and the active Marine Corps, its reserves and the Air Force and Navy hit or exceeded their goals, spokesman Bryan Whitman told reporters today. The Navy Reserve and Air National Guard missed their goals.
Another good month for recruiting, as predicted by recruiting command, the summer months are always strong. Lets see how it holds out now that school has started back. They only have until Sept. 30 to meet the 80,000 goal for the year. If they miss it, it'll be the first time since 1999.
