Despite shortfall, 2006 recruiting bar set high Email This Story Print This Story

The active Army will strive to recruit 80,000 soldiers in fiscal 2006 the same number it tried and failed to recruit in 2005. And the Army Reserve, which also struck out in 2005, will raise its recruiting bar by 13 percent.
It'll be interesting to see what tactics are used for recruiting. Especially since the contract is up for re-bid.
