National Guard soldiers can earn up to $2,000 in bonuses for every person they sign up under a recruiting program announced Nov. 28. Lt. Gen. Clyde Vaughn, director of the Army Guard, unveiled the Guard Recruiter Assistant Program when he was in Charleston, W. Va.
This is a smart move by the National Guard. It seems they are taking a chapter out of the business world and turning their soldiers into recruiters. Online retailer Amazon.com does much the same offering an affiliate program where members can refer people to buy for a percentage of the sale. This method turns your whole organization into potential "sales" force and everyone wins.
