First off, this is something that your recruiter should be going over with you. Second, there are over 200 jobs in the Army, name it and they probably got it, or something close. Third, not to be an ***, drop the stoner crap, the Army will not stand for it. As far as anybody but your recruiter is concerned you have never smoked the **** in your life. Do not tell your recruiter you have smoked it more than 20 times. If you have any criminal record in relation to drugs you will not be eligible for many MOS’s (Jobs) Being a stoner is nothing to be proud of, it took me all too long to figure this one out, but trust me your life is a hell of a lot better without the stuff.
Now, here is a link that will list most of the MOS’s and give you some information on each. Your recruiter will have the info on bonuses and availability of each.

Take some time, think of anything that you would want to do regardless of how much experience you may or may not have. Do a search on it and hopefully find it. Some major career fields that you may want to take into consideration
Computers/technology
Medical
Mechanical
Engineering
Creative design
Musical (If you play an instrument)
Athletic
Communications
Mental Health
Like I said, over two hundred options. Take some time and review all the helpful options that site has to offer.

True, there are over 200 jobs in the Army. One point nobody covered is the fact that you have to QUALIFY for the particular job you are interested in. If you haven't taken the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) Test, that's the first step. When your results return, the main score you (and the Army) are interested in is the GT (General/Technical) Score. The higher the score, the more jobs you qualify for. Of course, the score is waiverable contingent upon you taking classes so you can retest and raise your score to at least meet the minimum requirements for that MOS. If you cannot meet the minimum, you will be reclassified into a job field that your score meets.
Yes, go talk to your recruiter. Keep in mind, they will try to get you to take a job that is short on personnel. Be adamant about what you want. That's why the advice to research what jobs there are is so important. Your recruiter will also have that list to look through, and if I remember correctly, you can pull up a little movie clip about that job on the computer in his office, or somewhere.
If you do choose a job and it is not available the first time you try to reserve a slot, wait for the next week to try again. It took me a second time before I got my slot. First time, no slots. Second time, four slots. And I got to choose which slot I wanted. All that meant was I got to choose which day I started. One was in May, and I would have missed graduation. Two were for the second week in August, and the fourth was at the end of August.
