I am currently on active duty, with an ETS of May 09. I have been accepted in two colleges in my home state, and have talked with their professor's of military science. I want to drop enlistment via the green to gold non scholarship option, and enlist in the reserves or guard nearest to my school of choice. I plan on talking to retention once I'm out of Kuwait and back on a post, but I would like some insight from people who have gone active to guard/reserve. Even if it was not in connection with green to gold. Thanks!
