I have a question and don't belive the recruters much. When I was in the first grade I had surgrey; am I still able to get into the army? I went to MEPS and was temporaly dq because of it so i'm not sure if it's worth my time to try and get in still or not?

good point when i had the mumps i had surgrey because i kept getting hit so it would not go away on its own so i had surgrey to have it removed

I dont see why not. if it dosent intervine in the phisical aspect i dont see why you cant join..
if you can run and do everything they ask you sure go for it. there is no reasone again for you not to be able to join the army or any branch.

talk to a recruiter then join good luck :)

need anything else? please post

i have had three abdominal surgeries, and they said all they would need to get the waiver is something in my records (like a letter from the doc) saying that the issue is completely resolved and they do not expect any future problems.
