Army advise

i am almost 17.i want to join the army but i dont know if its the right time. i feel this urge to jump up and say "i wanna join!" but something tells me to wait. what are some things i should consider before joining. how is the ROTC in college? And what are chances of being sent across seas upon sign up?

I'll give you some kind of idea about deployment probability. My recruiter, told me that 75 - 80 % is a reasonable expectation. That coming from a recruiter should tell you that the probability of you being deployed is ATLEAST 75 %. So if you are basing your enlistment decision upon deployment probablility, I would suggest not joining. Good luck and God Bless!
