Well to make a long story short, I ws a bad cocaine user for the past couple years, I took a DAT test today and my cocaine levels are moderate.. I havent used in a week, and never plan to again. Last nite I got drunk and took a line, which i am slapping my face about that. I am going to buy a drug cleaning kit that cleans your system of Toxins. I also have been running the past 2 weeks 2 miles a day, 8 glasses of water a day. I leave OCt. 5 for BCT? I really wold appriciate not getting flamed for this because I know my mistake, just some good advice and help.

Short answer man... ya cant fool the tests.... stop taking cocaine, and hope you might get away with it...

hmmmmmmm......if cocaine is a big problem for you as in you feel a need to take it on a regluar basis.......maybe you should deal with the cocaine issue before joining....the army is the last place you want to be if your addicted to coke...its hard enough to make the transtion on a clear head....like exosays there is no fooling the test.....im not sure how long cocaine takes to leave the human body......or how far back the tests can go to pick it up
it might be a good idea if you dont feel the need to take it....maybe staying away from the paces and people where the temptation is.....stay clean and sober from now on you might not have a problem

Dude you better play it straight. The day before you ship...You go back to meps for a phyiscal and yes the test and a few questions.....Dont sell yourself short. This is a chance and in some cases a second chance. Start with honor..respect..unity..and duty. Keep your nose clean ..back straight,,,head up and mouth shut. And you just might be.... alright.

no more insight? guys i know i ****ed up yes i know, just help me out here please..
We are helping you out man... we dont have any more insight, cos the military is really tight on this everywhere... regular use leads to a pattern, and pattern well you know the drill... Thing is, that if you kick it, and dont get retested, you should be ok... if you get retested and caught, then you are screwed militarily, I believe you can appeal but its not a good bet for staying in... If you resuse and get caught, same result..... Listen, you might get away with it, but if you get caught, when charged present your case to the Batt Commander on how it was a HUGE and repeated mistake, but its behind you now..... if you are sincere, he may get behind keeping you in, but if he smells even the tiniest hint of BS, he will throw the book at you.... Been ExIrish Army, I can tell you that Batt Commanders do NOT like having their chained yanked... so be honest.....

hmh. Cocaine.. the old cure and the new remedy which you endup marrying.
messing with your brain fluids is a dangerous game.
some fools take pills and burn their synapses in the rave houses.
some take acid and end up in the "final trip".
some go for the grass and say that its okay because
its so mild. well where i'm from.. i haven't seen mild.. even home grown.
the plant it self is so far breeded that there is no such thing as the
"herb of the 60's" anymore. and hash? well your probably smoking
1/4 of a tyre from former russian army Uaz cooked by mafia.
alcohol?
well thats a funny fella. alcohol it self doesn't do anything for the brain,
but the burning in liver causes a by product. this fat-acid piles up in ones
head blocking the synapses (electrical charges) between the brain cells
and in the end blocks them complitely.. this process is the one
which causes memory loss. during heavy drinking.
pure spirits are concidered as a drug in my country.
while alcohol it self is not concidered psycho active..
the mechanism it hinders, chances over time...
like in the other forms of drug abuse.
the function of ones brain receptors chance.
some people suffer from depression... exessive sadness about any available issue.
this is in some cases because naturally (or unnaturally) low dopamine and
serotonine levels in the brain chemistry.
by using something which causes euphoric happiness and cemichally strenghtend
self-esteem and sometimes megalomania.. one makes the normal state seem
like the state of depression. in the end medicating he's ever growing tolerance
untill it becomes poisonous to the organs which keep us alive.
to my perception, life is a struggle in between.
keep the fight up. but don't make it a burden for others.
its not that im the most sober of the pack.
"absolutists are addicted to absolutism".
their struggle is somewhere else.
and if they loose that struggle they can become more dangerous than
one junkie on crystalmeth. (which is quite bad).

I have a similar problem; I was a heroin and cocaine user for 2 years in high school and college and have been clean since I began outpatient rehab in April 2007. I take daily doses of Suboxone (like methadone but you just get it at the pharmacy, u don't have to go to the clinic for it) and also valium. While these drugs don't show up on drug tests, I need them every month - I have had 3 grand-mal seizures trying to stop using the valium and everyone put me in the hospital - I actually almost died 3 times already...
Anyways, is there any possibility of me enlisting in the army with these medications? I don't use any drugs anymore; no weed, coke, or heroin, just the stuff my doctor gives me.
I would appreciate anyone's help!
