Reception PT ??

I have read in different places that the inital PT test at Reception includes a run that has to be finished within 8 minutes and 30 seconds. Then the next thing I read is that the time is 10 minutes and 30 seconds. Can someone clarify this for me? :confused:

Its a 2 mile run in 14... making it a 7 minute mile... so I am told.... 7 minute mile is the International norm for basic military fitness... I did it in 6.20 sec a mile.... 7 is tough but train like I did and youwill do it in your sleep..

Those are the requirements to be accepted from reception into the training Co. The graduation requirements are much lower.
