Wanting to finish Business Degree (Bachelors)...but also want to join Army Reserve?

I have really wanted to join the army reserve or maybe another reserve unit. (marines). Unfortunately I think I am wanting the cake and wanting to eat it too.

If you are currently enrolled in a University as a student after you are done with Basic and AIT, will you still get deployed?

Is there a less chance of it?

I just hate to put my career on hold by being sent off somewhere for a year.

Any thoughts on this?

Minimum to serve in the Reserves is 3 years right?

From what I understand from the US Army lads (Im Ex Irish Army), you are liable for deployment if you enlist in the reserves.... this is non negotiable... You need to talk to your recruiter and make sure you have your questions written down, cos he is a military sales man of sorts and is out to sell you enlistment... make sure you get your answers before making your decision, and note college is a benefit to the Army, but you will be a soldier first...
