Ok so I'm a lil over weight and I'm trying to loose some so I can get into the army. I'm also preparing for bootcamp. The problem is that I don't really know how to train. The problem is that while that I am running everyday but I'm also lifting to get ready for bootcamp. Does anybody know a good way to loose weight but also get stronger?

Ok this is the best way to prepare urself. ok first for the weight matter go to GMC and get somthing called REV get the bottel and ask the persone how u should take it second.. do sit ups as many as u can.. all in reason. then push ups and more push up oh and some more... running helps.. rev helps you lose weight fast very and its ok.. also you can eat whatever you want.. hehe i use it some times. to burn the extra pound or so..

good luck

For the running should I focus on running like 3 miles, or sprinting?

Whats up soulchild, well if i were you i would go talk to your recruiter and ask him... Ask him if hes got any free time to go running with you or go lifting with you. I think thats the best way, hes a guy who knows whats going on... now come on hes a guy trying to sell the army to people, hes got to know his stuff and that would include how to train for basic or loose weight! My recruiter said anytime i wanna go running or lifting just to give him a call. I personally am looking to go in and i also am a little over weight... Good luck man!
