What is the truth about bonuses?

I was to ship last month with a bonus. Unfortunately a paper glitch delayed my orignal ship date and I had to get another contract with a later ship date and without a bonus.
Please tell me why the army giveth and then they taketh? They said it was something to do with the budget??

if you had to redo your contract, it might have something to do with the MOS, ship date, fiscal year. im not really sure, but those could be one of them :confused: :confused: . sorry to hear about that. when did you sign your new contract???

Sounds like your getting screwed.. would not sign up without your original T&Cs in it.. paper screw up my ***!!.. Dont take no for an answer!!.. Get another recruiter if you need to, but dont get sold short!!.. good Luck!!

Did you sign the contract without the bonus? If so, the Army didn't give you anything .. but they would have had you insisted on it. Always make sure you have what you want in writing before you sign anything.
