my fiance will be going to AIT training in Maryland...I want to move down there to be closer to him... how in the heck am I supposed to do that!! I have no idea where this place is let alone how to find a place to live there! HELP! (I think he's going to A... something it's a acronym that starts with A)

Coming from an army wife I don't reccomend you moving with you fiance for AIT and neither will his commanding officers. My husband had an exteremly hard time being away from his daughter and I while he was in Basic and AIT, probably harder than I because i was at home with my family there to help me make it through and he was alone and feeling like it would never end. He even asked someone in charge if it were possible for me to move there but they told him it was a bad idea. Number one its expensive, number two when would you see him? Maybe on the weekends for a few hours the majority of the time he cant leave post. You just need to stay strong and know that in a few short months it will be over, there are many of us that have been in your shoes, we know EXACTLY how you feel. Feel free to send me a private message if you want someone to talk to. And remember to keep writing him, everyday if possible, my husband says thats what really help him through.
