...if i could enlist as a german, wich is not a permanent resident in the us (I`m 25 years old).
Please donīt get me wrong, Iīm not interested in being a mercenary or somekind of that. I just want to fight for freedom and sadly the german government dosnīt give me the chance to do so.
When I was as small boy during the time of cold war the us military always protected me and my people, so I feel being indepted to all the brave men an women.
Hope my english is not that bad and Iīll get some nice answers from you  .

You do not have to be a US Citizen to enlist in the US military, but you MUST be a legal resident. As a legal resident, only certain MOSes (jobs) will be open to you, and only certain assignments within those MOSes will be open. There is, however, a fairly large choice of MOSes for residents. Unless you become a legal resident, the US military will not accept you.

Hi Manu!

I have the same problems with the us army. I'm 26 years old and I'm hungarian. Here is my e-mail address: bencesailing@freemail.hu Send me an e-mail and maybe together will be easier to organize something.
