So the time has come... Its baby haven time :D... My hubby is buying his ticket on the first and will be leaving Germany on Feb, 18th... I am being endused on the 25 (I will be in my 39th week) and hoping to have our baby boy by the 26-27 (i dont think they will let you be in labhor for TO long but i dont know this is my first and god HELP me may it be my last although everyone says you always want one more) BUT for some reason I am not as excited as I was in the beging and I think its cuz I know me hubby will come home for about 3 weeks and then leave again... I am very excited to have my baby (and READY to not be pregnant anymore) but scared for my hubby. I dont like this coming and going thing its not fun. But when we got married he told me that i was basically marrin the Army. He just recently got his deployment dates and hes ready to go (to the war if ya didnt catch on) but I am not!! anyways just thought an update would be nice....

Hopefully if they induce on the 25th you will have the baby on the 25th. I don't know too many women that go longer than 24 hours but most are much less. All four of mine were induced and the longest labor was about 8 hours. Piece of cake! Enjoy your hubbie while he is home, and try not to worry too much about when he goes back. Live for the moment!

good luck with the induction. i was started at 600 am and at 930 pm i was on my way to the OR for a c section. have fun spending time with the hubby and the new baby!

I think I'm the opposite of everyone on this site... I was induced on December 5th and I had our first child on December 7th. It was a long labor. But I also was induced 2 weeks before my due date so that made things a little longer. But I'm guessing you will have your child shortly after you're induced. Good luck to all of you.

i was induced 2 weeks early too due to illness. i couldnt imagine a labor lasting that long. my hats off to u girl! i would have either died or killed my nurse lol...im a pain wimp and very impatient.

Thanks for the support!!! As the day comes closer I get more excited BUT yall are right I need to enjoy my hubby (while hes home) and my new baby!!! Sorry for all yall that had to go threw DAYS of misery!!! Im hoping that dosent happen to me and I KNOW that I am going to be a b***h while in labhor.... Its just how I am... I feel sorry for my nurse's!!!!!

HaHaHa my hubby said that he would just slap me if i was being to bad... hes going in the field tomorrow (i dont know what its called i just call it the field) and I am not going to get to talk to him for like 2 days!!! we whent from fighting and NEVER talking to not going ONE DAY without talking and now im sad!!! but we got cable hooked up in my new place today so i should be intertained for a lill while!! but still im goen to miss him... god im such a cry baby.... i blame it on the PREGNANCY hormons though

my son kept my ex in labor for 37 hours. I pat the boy on his head all the time for that.

Yeah that was mean BUT i hope to GOD that I am not in labhor for 37 HOURS!!!! wow THATS CRAZY!!! my mother was in labhor with me for A LONG TIME and my older sister to!!! I hope I dont follow in her foot steps.... although i look EXACTLY like her and act like her to MAYBE the hole BABY thang wont happen to me

O MY GOSH.. so hes coming home monday and his plain lands around 10 pm!! I am kinda freaken out because I havent seen him in 8 months and ive gaind 20 lbs (but HEY im pregnant!!) hes excited to come home and i am excited to see him BUT i always adjust to him being here and then i have to RE-ADJUST to him freaken being gone!!! sometimes I HATE being an army wife (but it also has its advantsges)... HAHA ladies yall know what im talking about!!! So should i plan something special?? I did go to spencers (its a weird store but has some FUN s*x stuff in it) and buy a few s*x toys and games and im going to put together a little bag to give him in the airport but should i plan something else??? Errr..... i dont know!! HELP :confused: :D
