The Stripes for Skills test I saw included passing the PT test, identifying ranks, knowing the General Orders & Soldiers Creed, some drill & ceremony like left face, attention, parade rest, etc., maps & land navigation, evaluate a casualty on the battlefield. You tell me if that's hard.
If you think that's hard then you'll have to study. Are you going to have any DEP classes? It should all be covered there.
I've heard, at least in my area that if DEPs attend the classes, usually a few hours on a Saturday & pass the PT test they go in with E2. I imagine that there's a quiz after every phase & the hands on stuff like D&C are given either a go or no go with more than likely retraining on the no goes. You'll probably be given an MRE for lunch.
If you have classes then pay attention & take notes.

If I am not on the dep and I am just waiting to leave for basic can I take the stripes for skill test. I know if I where to take it right now I would pass everything but the running portion.but when you got the man watching and you know it is time to buck up things become more possible.
