I gather that you have a Bachelor Degree, a requirement for OCS but I believe Reserve OCS has a lower requirement. I could be wrong. You'll also have to research the age limit as you've already stated. There's not only an age limit for OCS but for 2LT. Most officers are in a particular age group. There again it may be different between Active Duty Army & Army Reserve.
If you can't get into OCS you might also consider trying for Warrant Officer. The age requirements are different for WOCS. Many Warrants are from the senior enlisted ranks.
I'm sorry I can't give you any definitive answers but this'll at least hone your research skills. There's always officer aquisition recruiters or any other recruiter that can give you answers.
If you find anything out on your own please come back here & let us know the requirements. We need to be informed so we can pass any data on to others.

You'll find more information on this site: http://www.armyocs.com
After you click on Forums, click on search and you'll find the answers you need without even having to ask, more than likely.

My situation is different. I enlisted in May of 2008 not knowing much about the army. During all of my training I was convinced that being an officer is something that I really wanted to do. I have just got back home since leaving in May. I have been home for about 3 weeks and am in the reserves. I would like to know if I were to bring this suggestion to my chain of command is it possible for me to get into OCS without waiting a certain period of time (meaning completing a year of my contract first or something of that nature). I understand the whole thing about submitting the packet and going before a board/ panel. Also being reserves am I even able to go to OCS or do I have to do some other kind of commissioning source strictly for reserves? I personally rather do OCS. Last question is, would it be harder or more complicated getting into OCS as a PFC if I were in the active army? thank you in advance.
Yes I have enough college credits and the degree to go.
Yes I have the GT score as well.

Get in touch with your Commander. He will give you the scoop.
You can be 35 and go to OCS. You will need an age waiver.
If you got a bonus you have to wait 179 days from the time you returned from training or they will recoup.
You have to put in a packet and no way around it. Get to your commander and he will set you up.
