I am curious, are any of the specialized schools in the Army, open to those in the National Guard? I am enlisting as an E-2 in the South Dakota National Guard as a 15F. Down the road I will be trying for the 56M - I will need the Chaplains School for this, correct?
I am still new to all of this and say thank you in advance....

All schools are open to Guard soldiers, that said .. what slots are available to you depend greatly on your job, but more importantly, your state and unit. Most states aren't willing to send Guard soldiers to school unless it is absolutely necessary.
