View Full Version : Prison Guards
Anyone ever been deployed as a prison guard in Iraq? Care to share any experiences about that?
I meant within the last couple of years. I'm asking for a reason that I cannot post. I'm not looking to start a debate on treatment of prisoners or what-not. I actually want to know what it is like for the soldier on a daily basis.
Im not aware of anyone being an MP Prision Guard on the forum, so Im not sure if your question will get answered.. However, I would draw your attention to operational security, and advise you ask your more experienced unit peers about life on deployment and take it one day at a time.... Take it from an old dog like me, unit and operational security is critical, and keep going on this vain of posting, you will be compromising yours... Remember whilst friends are watching this, the enemy is too...;)

Boring from what I understand. Long shifts, not a lot of days off. You have to deal with MPs and those with mentalities like MPs. You have to babysit smelly, filthy Hajis.

I give her credit..It's a lousy job..I guess someone has to want to do it..Yeah, sleeping on the job isn't cool. Working with someone in her life in that set up...Damn.
I say FK the smelly, filthy Hajis. filthy pigs that they are...Even after they talk..FK'em.I hope she remembers how they got there.
She needs her family to send her a wish list of magazines she can read everyday in front of the enemy when they can't...That would drive the enemy nuts and do more damage then water.Being around the enemy day to day...Damn.
That's how I feel...I got my job.
