Ok, so my boyfriend is home now from being in Baghdad for a year and is showing classic signs of PTSD. He is withdrawing, drinking, having nightmares and feels uncomfortable in crowds or people situations. Any advice on what I can do to be supportive to him? Thanks so much for any advice.

Hopefully you can give him some space and still let him know your there for him

Agreed. Sadly, that's about all you can do. Time and anything the medics can do is the only answer.
