I need to talk to some one who knows a little about officer pay. My little girl is almost 4 and her dad is an o3 (captain) I have never seen a dime of child support and am fixing to start fighting for it. His msjor asked him if she was his he said he was unsure. Thats funny because at Christmas he flew all the way to Texas from South Carolia to see a child HE NOT SURE THATS HIS!!! The army wont help me now because he said hes unsure. I found a dead beat dad attorney that is going to go after his dna. I was just wondering what officers make. I dont know his mos but I know he has another child and lives off base. Do u guys get money for that too?

Thanks, but not quite what I was looking for. I have all of the pay schedules for US military but not for other countries. The question asked was where does the US fit on the pay scale as compared to other countries (ie who gets paid more or paid less than the US miltary).

oh, crud! Please just ignore me! I had asked a question and thought that was the answer because it was so similar to what I had asked. I must have hit the wrong post!
So sorry!

That pay is based monthly. $3124.56 for a starting captain isn't too bad ..over $37K a year. If i worked full time I'd have about the same in US$ (more, as it would be in Canadian funds!). Most enlisted are lucky too even see 2/3rd the amount of officers' salaries. http://www.army.com/money/payrates_enlisted_a05.html

If he works on base, but lives off base, chances are that the property he lives on is government owned. So, he won't pay any fees. If he wants a larger place, then it comes out of his own pocket; providing that it is even an option!
