I'm Deaf in one ear.

Hello! I'm Deaf in my right ear and I was told that their was no way that I'll ever be able to join the army or anything. It really ticks me off that I would be denied because of a disability such as being deaf in one ear. I was born deaf in my right ear and well, it sucks. Isn't their something I can do to get around this? I'm looking for a loop hole. I mean, you guys allow gay people there, why can't we have "Deaf in one ear" people? Anyone, someone please give me some input on this matter, I'm starving for information concerning such. Thank you. Winter.
