travel reimbursement

My son paid his own way home after ait for his hometown recruiting and leave but he thinks he has to pay his own way to his duty station also, does that sound right? wouldn't the army pay at least one way? any info is appreciated, he said his sargeants told him he had to pay for both....

They will it just takes them awhile. My son got his eight weeks after he got to his duty station. Tell him to make sure he turns in everything he need to turn in, so that it won't delay it any.
