child suport need advice

I have two children and my husband is in the Reserves we are still married but we are separated due to his deplotment (taking some courses in Virginia ) he is not sending me enough money for the kids how do i proceed what can I do? Is thier an amount of money established for child support? Can some tell me please.....:confused:

Different states approach child support in different ways. Sadly there isn't one standard. Have you contacted any legal counsel to help you in this matter? You are not legally separated? Just separated so you can go to school. I suppose I don't understand the situation.

If he is not sending enough money to you to provide for his family, you can notify his chain of command.

Heck, yeah! If you start calling is CO or anyone else in his chain of command, they will straighten is *** out in a heartbeat! The military does not stand for that kind of garbage!

I don't know if you've seen the replies above, but I hope things have gotten figured out.

I talked to our Command Financial Specialist today in regards to a situation with another family I'm aware of and at a minimum your Soldier is required to give you his BAH to help take care of your children.
