Hope someone can point me in a direction maybe...
I have a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, could this negatively affect me in wanting to join the reserves?
Thanks for the help.

It depends on the seriousness of it. How debilitating is it in your case? What types of meds are you on? There are a lot of women serving with the issue, it just depends on the seriousness of it.

That is very promising to hear that there are women serving with this diagnosis.
I have the diagnosis, but seriously forget that I have it as much as I can. I cannot afford to let this disease control my life and I don't allow it to.
I am currently on prozac to help with the myalgias. Tried sleeping pills to help me with sleep, but found no difference so stopped taking them. A benadryl works just as good, and actually better for me ;)
I have learned to do things differently. ie: I don't move the furntiture around in the house as often anymore, and when I do, I don't move it by myself, I ask for help so I don't pay for it pain wise for days after....
So for {me} it is not debilitating, thank goodness. I am sure it could be if I allowed it, but I have too much I need to get accomplished on an everyday basis ;)
Thanks for taking a bit of the worry off my shoulders.
