View Full Version : Want to talk...
Hi,
My bf is in Iraq now also. I miss him so much.
By the way, i am looking for some friends here so we can talk. I think talking with someone can help me so much because i am very lonely now. I am scared that my bf will never come back with me and i want to share my feeling with everyone having the same situation like me now.
Thanks

Hi MyKK. I understand your worry about your boyfriend being in Iraq right now. One of my cousins is over there and one of my very best friends is on his way right now to Kuwait and then Iraq. I have been worried to death about him going over there. I have been keeping up with the news and the count everyday, which probably only causes me to worry even more. No one else around here seems to care or at least not as much as me about this stuff, or understand what is exactly going on, so it is hard... However, I talked to my best friend the other day and he says that he will be on base over there almost the whole time and will be pretty safe, due to what his job really is. I have no idea what your boyfriend does, but I sure hope that he will be alright. This is war and I understand the risk that all of these men and women are at, but hopefully only the best will come out of it. Just remember that he is doing a great thing for his country and is being a servant. As far as your worry about him coming back to you, (I am not quite sure how you meant that exactly  ) but I am sure that he will. My cousin who has been over in Iraq for quite some time, has really put his priorities in order and now realizes how important those close to him really are. There is a HUGE chance that your boyfriend really misses you a ton and is realizing how important you are to him! Don't worry! :D I wish you the best and if you want to talk about anything, I am here. Good luck.

Hi I know how you feel. My brother Robert was stationed in Iraq in January. I have not heard from him since he has been there. I hope and pray that he comes back healthy and happy.

I like most of you have a boyfriend getting ready to go to Iraq. It is really helpful to have people like you that are willing to talk. And since you guys are so nice to me I am also willing to talk to anyone of you and try to help you out :)

I hope that all are well. Praying for the troops and their missions brings me much comfort. I encourage all who have faith in the Lord, to do the same. The Lord also knows the plans for everyone. He has a path for everyone and even the soldiers are fulfilling it, as hard as their job may be. "For I know the plans that I have for you," says the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 My hopes and prayers are with everyone who is affected by this war!
