Hello, just wondering what everyone would think of a small screen that could attach to any modern assault rifle that would register how many shots have been fired during a particular period, with the option to reset after a magazine has been fired. How much would you pay for a device like this? Some opinions would be greatly appreciated.

There are several problems with this and there are easy ways to get the same results.
- An electronic bullet counter would break down if you fall on it, which is punishment rifles have to endure.
- It would also give away a postion, the army goes to great measures to make sure everything, even buttons on an assault jacket are camoflauged, if you have a big bright red number floating around, its going to give you away, especialy at night.
- The magazines the HK G36 uses, and others is made of a clear plastic, that is dull to it reduces the shine of the bullet casing but also so you can see quickly and easily how many rounds you have left.

the only situation I could imagine this working in is in an SAS-style hostage rescue raid, where the enemy will be able to see you anyway and you dont have time to look at your magazine

A few pictures showing the clear magazine:

a nice looking rifle but in a conflict like iraq then that would not be very good its only used for lightweight and easy for room clearing give me the HK MP5 for that anyday....its just like the M1A1 carbine used by yanks in WW2....tiny gun tiny bullet so takes a lot of bullets to kill someone with it

The reason i like it is because the ability to know when your running low The hk g36 it also has ability for a highpowered scope and detachable arm rest

Best weapon for taking down a room ?

All you do is pull the pin and throw in the death ball, No need to check ammo after that's done
