My fiance is has entered the army and is in basic training. We are not married yet but are planning to. I just got a job and i am currently starting my first semester in college. He is in fort benning having fun im sure right now. My dad is asking about marriage plans but since i have hardly been in contact i am not really sure. I have some options.. I could drop my job and transfer to where he gets stationed, thats one of the choices. What would you do in this situation? :D

Honestly, only the two of you can make this decision as only the two of you know all the details of your relationship.

You have to make the best decision for you guys, and a lot of that will depend on when you guys plan to get married and whether you want a long distance relationship.

Will you transfer schools to where he is at, as well? Make sure you two talk it out decide what you both are willing to sacrifice for your relationship.

Wait to see where he'll be permanently before you make any decisions. And please don't forget the deployment possibility. It'd be a shame if you got to his duty station after disrupting your life only to have him deploy for a year or 15 months.
