My husband is getting ready for bootcamp, but before he can enlist he has to take care of some probation things. From what I understand you get paid during bootcamp/ait and get bah? Is this correct? And if so how long after bootcamp will the deposits start coming in? I just want to have everything planned and straightened out before I go crazy! I feel like I have so much to ask and don't know where to start. Also, we have two dependents and he is going to try to go in as an E2 if possible. Does anyone have an idea of what the pay will be? Just an idea...

Yes, he will get paid when he starts training and he will receive BAH since he has dependents. Pay usually kicks in with 15-30 days. Base Pay for E1 is 1347 a month and for E2 is 1509.90 monthly. BAH is dependent on your location.
