I'm joing the army this july. I'll still be a junior in high school. Can i go off on some weekend exercices like some of my friends in the Guard do? They are only in the 11th grade too.

One of my friends went to basic after 11th grade in the summer, after 12th grade he was sent into active. After you do your basic I dont think you have anything to do with the army until you go in. My friend was also ROTC at highschool might have something to do with it.
