Backpay BAH

Just received a promotion that was more than a year overdue. Everything worked out in the end because it was backdated, but when I received the paycheck to cover the difference, the backpay was for base pay only. Is that correct?

I would think the difference in BAH should have been paid as well.

Yes, you should get backpay for BAH as well, file a pay inquiry with your S1.

I figured as much. Was hoping to wait it out in case it was coming in a separate payment so as not to have to deal with the S1, but I guess I don't have a choice.
