This is what u said a while ago about ranger selection:

i myself am fond of the rangers and they're training is just about the toughest in the world. phase 1 is a survival thing where the soldier are given mental and physical excersizes such as the darby queen (one of the longest and hardest mile-long obstacle course), then they go to mountain training i think.....either that or jungle training...whtvr. and in mountain they have to climb like huge rock faces man then rappel off. then they're jungle where they are wet pretty much the whole time. and THEN they get into.............house clearing I THINK. and then stuff like fast-roping (when u slide down a rope from a chopper hovering 90ft. off the ground) and all that kool stuff. and then they do missons using blank rounds until they're officer has the confidence to put them on a live firing assault. then.. da da da grad day. rangers do 10 live firing excersises a year (they only shoot targets an such but it's still dangerous with all the comotion and apache's and cobra's firing hell-fire missiles) and on the missons they choose guys to volunteer to be a wounded or dead so the rangers learn to get troops out fast. well if u'r wonder how a 13 year old got all this then a good video would be a 50 minute doc. on the rangers. ya i definetely choose rangers

I don't know exactly what royal marine selection is like, 'cos I can't do it just now, but the royal marine obstacle course is officially the toughest in the world, and the run that they have to do is so difficult that i've heard about people's legs snapping mid-exercise. If you'd seen some of the royal marines I've seen, you'd change your opinion, i guarantee you that - those guys are proper ****ing hard as nails.

Also, ranger, you are just ***** - you couldn't make it more obvious. You wouldn't stand a chance in the military, never mind the rangers.

We can all play Detla Force, Swat3, Counter-Strike, and RainbowSix. Again that doesn't make you educated, it just makes you aware of some of the equipement (and "guns" are) that is available.

They are weapons... We were told this over and over in Basic, and got dropped when we stated otherwise. Probably because it needs to be pushed into people's heads that this isn't a game, or some "kool shyte".

Your attitude alone, will keep you out of the ranger regiment. I've been around plenty of Rangers, who never had an attitude.

As for room clearing, if you are gonna try to sound informed (i will not say educated, because you are far from that) upon the topic, you would use the right labling. It's all part of Urban Combat Training.

I've read **** about the rangers online. One of my previous mentors was a Ranger, who had the rank of SFC- but rank is irrelevant, he left recruiting to rejoin the regiment. He contained a wealth of knowledge... It's too bad that I won't get to serve with him, since by the time I am applicable for a Tab, he will retire. That's if I so choose to pursue that route even.

It takes discipline to achieve what his has.

Are you claiming to be a military expert? If so, the standards have dropped dramatically, see, there was a time when an 'expert' had to know what he or she was talking about.
