Hi all,
I was honorably discharged seven years ago; i just recently got married to my wife who is German citizen. I want to sponsor her to California, but she can not come at this time because of family business there. For tax purpose, i file as married filing jointly with her ITIN (she is not US resident so does not have a SSN). If i want to re-enlist now, will my status be "married with dependent" and will the army allow my wife BAH (if so, for Germany or my home in California), family separation pay and such .. just in case i am DEPLOYED TO IRAQ (surely :eek:)?? The local recruiter has little help on this. Is anyone in similar situation ?
