I'm going to enlist soon but I'm not sure which branch would be best. I'm a pretty good shot and would like to become a sniper. Which branch has the best opportunity for this?

Hey Sniper Bob, you might be interested in the Marine Corps (sorry Army.com). They have a pretty big sniper thing going on.

sorry guys but im in the army and they are the best.HOOAH
Hey Sniper Bob. The Air Force also has snipers in the security forces field. So now you have that Marines, Army, and Air Force have snipers, talk to every branch to see which one is the best for you.

Out of the three that have the best sniper programs i would go with Army. Marines aren't bad but you do have to deal with alot through boot camp, Air Force, you are very likely to not get the job you want..

Don't bother joining any branch if you do not believe you can survive without being a sniper. As it stands, your chance of becoming a sniper is a million to one. Lots of people come into the military that are "good shots," and less than 1% of those become snipers. Military shooting is a completely different world than civilian shooting.
Enlist into a branch and MOS you know you will enjoy .. do NOT enlist with thoughts that you WILL become a sniper. You will only be setting yourself up for four miserable years. This way, you've got an MOS you enjoy and if you do somehow become a sniper, all the better.

not 100% but pretty sure if you wanna be a sniper your going to have to go 11B infantry then take airborne ranger spec forces training and be the best shot anyones ever seen.....last i checked we dont have a brigade of snipers floating around anywhere.

You do not have to be a Ranger or Special Forces to become sniper qual'd. Ft. Benning school is open to any 11B who qualifies.
